AMPAR-AMPAR PISANG


The song Ampar-Ampar Pisang is a regional song originating from South Kalimantan and created by Hamiedan AC. The song Ampar-Ampar Pisang tells the story of a typical Kalimantan cake made from banana, the cake named Rimpi cake. It was given the title Ampar-Ampar Pisang because the method of making bananas was strand ​​or arranged to be very mature, even almost rotten. Then, the banana is dried in the sun until it hardens and emits a distinctive sweet aroma. When the banana is dried it will usually be surrounded by small animals that can fly, this animal is very fond of the aroma of bananas. This animal is known to the people of Kalimantan with the name bari bari. At the end of the song there is the lyrics "dikitip bidawang" which means bitten by lizard.
